David is a Senior Manager at GPG and is responsible for managing the Sydney office operations. David has significant experience in private and public-sector procurement and undertaking organisational reviews projects. David has worked with some of Australia’s largest organisations, including blue chip corporates and state and federal government agencies.

" Everyday I get to work with smart and interesting people, in both GPG staff and clients, solving complex problems. I take significant enjoyment in facilitating outcomes for clients and identifying and driving their strategies making a positive impact in their business. Outside of working on consulting projects my role is to develop the capabilities of the consultants in the Sydney office and manage the operations of the Sydney office. "

Highlights

  • Led the transition of a first generation outsource for integrated property related services for a national portfolio of medical centres, labs, collection centres and corporate space. Significant change management and stakeholder engagement required to large number of stand alone business units
  • Led the end-to-end process for a airport management service provider to manage all airport operations included property (facilities and real estate) for Christmas and Cocos Island airports
  • Managed the delivery of a $100m capital works program and other services contracts (cleaning and hygiene waste). Over 15 separate procurements (single source, RFQ, RFT and panel establishment) managed from delivery strategy definition to contract execution
  • Led a review of the Facilities Management Unit at the old Gladesville Hospital site and Callan Park NGO precinct. The review considered how to deliver services based on three different management scenarios
  • Undertook a review of Group Property and identified service improvements and cash savings of $9m over three years. Developed a new Group Property strategy and structure and assisted in the implementation. Undertook a outsourcing activity for a integrated property service provider. Assisted in refreshing key maintenance contracts (HVAC, security, handyman, etc).
